Traders watch DOGE, SUI, PEPE and FTM as Bitcoin range trades near $100K

Bitcoin’s consolidation in the $100,000 range is giving traders an opportunity to take a closer look at DOGE, SUI, PEPE and FTM.

Bitcoin (BTC) continues to witness a tough battle between the bulls and the bears at the $100,000 level. CryptoQuant contributor Percival said in a Quicktake blog post on Dec. 6 that Bitcoin’s weekly strength is worn out, suggesting a consolidation over time.

The near-term uncertainty and the choppy price action have not altered analysts’ long-term bullish view on Bitcoin. WeRate co-founder Quinten François said in a post on X that Bitcoin is “entering the euphoria stage,” which could extend the rally for a maximum of 12 months before a cycle top is formed.

Bitcoin’s rise above ,000 could pull APT, WIF, FTM, and BGB higher

Bitcoin’s recovery above $62,000 is having a positive impact on altcoins, boosting prospects of a rally in APT, WIF, FTM and BGB.

Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to close the week above $62,500, well above the intra-week low of just under $60,000. This suggests buying at lower levels. Although the start to October, generally the strongest month of the year, has been slow, analysts expect things could pick up going forward.

One positive for the cryptocurrency markets is that the CME Group’s FedWatch Tool is pricing in a 97% probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates by 25 basis point in their Nov. 7 meeting. Expectations are that a rate cut would boost a risk-on sentiment.

Sonic could become the fastest blockchain by finality if it maintains the performance on its mainnet.

The Sonic blockchain has achieved a transaction finality of 720 milliseconds (ms) during its testnet.

In blockchain, finality is the assurance that a transaction is irreversible, which happens after it is added to a block on the blockchain ledger.

Sonic claims to be the world’s fastest Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain, with a “true” 720-ms finality, according to Andre Cronje, the creator of the Fantom Network and the chief technology officer of Sonic Labs.
