Crypto and Bitcoin mining-related stocks in the US bounced back from an early trading day dip after opinion polls showed voters rated Kamala Harris debate performance.

Crypto and Bitcoin mining-related stocks have bounced back following an early trading day dip in the wake of the debate between United States presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Publicly traded crypto and Bitcoin (BTC) mining firms saw their share prices plunge on Sept. 11, reacting to the debate the night before where opinion polls pinned Harris as outperforming the pro-crypto Trump.

The crypto-linked shares recovered from their lows, with most closing trading on only slightly down.

Pro-crypto attorney John Deaton has won the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in the Massachusetts primary election and is set to face off against Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren in November.

Deaton, a former Marine and outspoken advocate of Ripple (XRP), defeated two other Republican candidates including industrial engineer Bob Antonellis and Quincy city council president Ian Cain to nab the Republican nomination, according to a Sept. 4 report from the Associated Press.

He has secured 64% of votes so far, with just over 43% of the total votes in Massachusetts being counted at the time of publication, according to election tracking data from Politico.

Binance has assured its users that their funds are safe after Venezuela cut off access to the exchange and social media platform X.

Venezuela’s government has blocked access to crypto exchange Binance, social media platform X and other online services amid unrest over disputed presidential election results.

On Aug. 9, local anti-censorship organization VE sin Filtro posted to X that it “detected a DNS block on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, which affects the normal operation of its website and mobile application.”

“Like several websites of companies from different segments in Venezuela, including social networks, Binance pages have been facing access restrictions,” the exchange’s Latin American-focused X account posted on Aug. 10.

Pro-crypto presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admits he was the one who dumped a dead bear in New York City’s Central Park a decade ago, which made national headlines at the time.

In a video he released on X on August 4, the pro-crypto presidential candidate told the story to actress Roseanne Barr. He said that he didn’t kill the young bear as it was hit by another driver.

He said he planned to skin the bear because it was in very good condition, and keep the meat in the refrigerator because that is permissible for roadkill in New York State.
