Take a peek at the next installment of Cointelegraph’s 2023 Top 100 list, with rankings 51–60 featuring Jack Mallers, Epic Games and more.

The latest installment of Cointelegraph’s Top 100 is live, with positions 51–60 now revealed to the public. Each year, Cointelegraph crafts a list of the top 100 figures in the crypto industry, with its staff casting votes on which to include. Each member of the Top 100 gets their own profile explaining why they were included. The first 10 entries, profiles 90–100, were unveiled on Feb. 8. An additional 10 profiles have been released each weekday since, leading up to the forthcoming unveiling of the top spot.

The Top 100 is a compilation of the crypto sector’s most notable heroes and villains expected to make moves in 2023, and entries 51–60 are now live. Who’s on the list? Compared with Cointelegraph’s Top 100 from 2022, there are some new faces. Strike CEO Jack Mallers comes in just above the halfway point at No. 51. Mallers made a splash in 2022 by assisting with payments in El Salvador via Bitcoin (BTC) payments solution Strike.

At No. 59, Epic Games is another new entrant for 2023, dedicating a chunk of its $2 billion in funding in 2022 to the metaverse, among other moves that made headlines last year. Other new faces include OKX CEO Jay Hao, Paxful co-founder and CEO Ray Youssef, and others. In fact, the only member from this batch of entrants also on the 2022 list is CoinShares chief strategy officer Meltem Demirors, who held position No. 59 in 2022 but has moved up the list to No. 52 for 2023. Demirors served as a voice pushing for the adoption of crypto assets in mainstream finance in 2022, among other efforts.

Just about halfway through the unveiling of its 2023 list, Cointelegraph’s Top 100 has so far featured names such as popular Twitter personality Cobie at No. 74, CertiK co-founder Ronghui Gu at No. 94, and even Terraform Labs co-founder and CEO Do Kwon, ranked No. 81 as an industry villain.

The remainder of the Top 100 will be released 10 at a time each weekday, while the final 10 profiles will follow a different schedule. Seven will be published on Feb. 17, leading up to the top three, which will each be published on separate days the following week.
