Kanye asks meme coin trader Ansem to meet, fueling account sale debate

Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, posted on X today requesting a meeting with crypto trader Ansem, fueling speculation about the ownership status of his social media account with 32.7 million followers.

The tweet was later deleted, adding to the mystery surrounding its intent and authenticity.

The unexpected message has sparked debate about whether West has sold his X account, particularly given the reference to Ansem, whose real name is Zion Thomas.

Ansem, who operates under the handle @blknoiz06 with over 600,000 followers, is known in crypto circles for his early backing of Solana, predicting trends in meme coins, including Dogwifhat (WIF).

The tweet follows West’s recent announcements about launching “Swasticoin.”

These statements have drawn criticism, especially considering his previous antisemitic comments.

While promoting the potential token launch, West appeared in a video wearing a swastika shirt, responding to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy’s accusations of planning a scam coin.
