Bitcoin range recovery could boost UNI, SUI, OP and HNT

Bitcoin remains below $55,724 support, but the selling may be reducing, increasing the possibility of a relief rally in UNI, SUI, OP and HNT.

Bitcoin (BTC) broke below the $55,724 to $73,777 range on Sept. 6, paving the way for a further decline to the Aug. 5 intraday low of $49,000. According to Bitget Wallet chief operating officer Alvin Kan, Bitcoin may remain under pressure until the Federal Reserve’s rate decision on Sept. 18. However, after the rate cut is announced, Kan anticipates risk assets to witness a short- to mid-term boost.

Arthur Hayes, the former CEO of the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange, who earlier speculated Bitcoin to drop below $50,000 has changed his view. He now expects Bitcoin to rally as early as next week due to increased United States dollar liquidity from the Fed.

Price analysis 9/6: BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP, DOGE, TON, ADA, AVAX, SHIB

Bitcoin bears have pulled the price below the support of the range, starting a potential downtrend toward $49,000.

Bitcoin (BTC) has been in a sideways price action pattern for several months, but the bears are trying to seize control. The resolution of the large $55,724 to $73,777 range in favor of the sellers could start a downtrend.

Arthur Hayes, former CEO of crypto exchange BitMEX, has projected Bitcoin to fall below $50,000. A similar view was offered by veteran trader Peter Brandt, who has a target of $46,000 for Bitcoin.

Why is Ethereum (ETH) price underperforming compared to the wider crypto market

Ether price continues to plunge as troubled investors worry about the lack of spot Ether inflows, declining Ethereum network fees and a potential tech stock bubble bursting.

Ether (ETH) price is down 5.2% between Sept. 3 and Sept. 4 after a strong rejection at the $2,550 resistance, marking eight days since ETH last closed above that level.

Traders are now concerned that Ether may underperform even if the broader crypto bull market resumes, as incentives for fixed income in the US are expected to decrease. So, exactly what is putting pressure on Ether's price?

Some market participants may attribute the lackluster performance of cryptocurrencies to traditional financial market conditions, but Ether is also facing its own set of challenges, including lower network fees, appealing staking rewards, and weak demand for its recently launched spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) products. Therefore, it’s worth exploring whether these factors will continue to drive Ether’s price down in the future.

Bitcoin price loses traction as miner profits drop and spot BTC outflows persist

Bitcoin has lost more than 10% in the past two weeks as fear of a US recession, spot Bitcoin ETF outflows and the threat of miner capitulation grows.

Bitcoin (BTC) price dropped 10% over the 10 days ending on Sept. 3, falling from $64,190 to $57,800. This decline occurred despite the S&P 500 index being just 2% below its all-time high and gold trading only $50 away from its historical peak. While some cryptocurrency investors attribute Bitcoin’s dip to the broader macroeconomic environment, other factors are also pushing its price below $59,000.

Trader DamiDefi explains that Bitcoin has been influenced by recession concerns in the United States, but that trend is stabilizing as the focus shifts to “monetary policy and the US dollar’s performance.” The “bullish narrative” for Bitcoin going forward will hinge on the expectation of a “looser Federal Reserve policy, [...] such as lowering interest rates.” Essentially, traders anticipate that the US will be compelled to implement expansionary measures to stimulate the economy.

BNB Chain DEX volumes drop 24% in a week — Is BNB in trouble?

BNB price has struggled, but some investors claim Changpeng “CZ” Zhao’s release will pump BNB price even as network fundamentals worsen.

BNB Chain’s native token, BNB (BNB), declined by 16.1% between Aug. 23 and Sept. 2, falling from a high of $598.80 to a low of $502.10. However, significant buying activity emerged below $510, helping BNB recover some of its losses to currently trade at $517.

Investors are concerned that BNB may have entered a bearish market, particularly as the token hasn’t held above $610 since mid-June.

BNB Chain metrics indicate declining interest, especially in decentralized exchange (DEX) volumes. Consequently, traders are questioning whether the $400 level from Aug. 5 could be retested.

Price analysis 9/2: SPX, DXY, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP, DOGE, TON, ADA

Bitcoin is attempting a slight recovery, but closing above the $60,000 market will be the first step to achieve before BTC and altcoins can bounce from their recent lows.

The S&P 500 Index (SPX) rose marginally by 0.24% last week, but Bitcoin (BTC) succumbed to selling pressure and fell nearly 11%. Will Bitcoin resume its uptrend, or has it already topped out? That is the big question worrying investors.

However, the whales do not seem to be perturbed by the sideways price action and have been on a buying spree. According to a post on X by market intelligence platform Santiment, Bitcoin whale wallets holding 100 Bitcoin or more surged by 283 wallets to 16,129 wallets, the highest in 17 months.
